Event Details
Come celebrate the incredible work of Ka‘ū’s Zero Waste Advocates at this exciting concert event featuring Kanaka Fyah and other local island favorites! This gathering showcases not only amazing music but also the powerful efforts of our youth-led company, Mālama ‘Āina Compostables, which has been working tirelessly to reduce waste through collection events, diversion programs, and innovative sustainability initiatives. Your support will help send this inspiring group to Kamikatsu, Japan—one of the world’s only Zero Waste municipality—where they will learn firsthand how a community can achieve Zero Waste and bring that knowledge back to Hawai‘i.
(Check out Kamikatsu’s Zero Waste story here: https://shorturl.at/MBO9c)
This special event is more than just a concert—it’s a celebration of community action and sustainable solutions. Meet and connect with other organizations dedicated to protecting our islands, discover how you can get involved, and enjoy delicious ‘ono grindz while soaking in the good vibes. With your help, we can create a thriving, Zero Waste future for Ka‘ū and beyond. Join us for an unforgettable day of music, culture, and aloha for our ‘āina!
